Piano
Max is a classically-trained pianist and graduate of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He completed his ABRSM grade 8 in 2014 and was subsequently offered a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. There, he studied with distinguished pianists such as Michael Young and Huw Warren, and graduated with a Bmus with honours degree in performance in 2019. He has since performed at weddings, events and studios across the country such as Fairy Hill Hotel, Crowcombe Court, Llechwen Hall Hotel, Peterstone Court, St David's Hotel & Spa, Lost & Found Bristol, Mountain Ash Golf Club, Webbington Hotel & Spa, Plas y Rhosyn, Sant Ffraed House, Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa, St Tewdrics House, Owlpen Manor and Fieldgate Studio.
Max offers a diverse playlist of Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Disney, Film music and Christmas tunes. Included in every quote is two additional song requests, to make the music more personal to you.
He can bring his own instrument and amplification if needed, which is included in most of the packages.
Cello
Tabitha enjoys a busy freelance life as a cellist. As an orchestral musician she has worked with Welsh National Opera, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and Sinfonia Cymru, and is a regular extra player with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh Chamber Orchestra. She was also a ‘Foyle Future First’ with the London Philharmonic Orchestra 2022-2023.
Tabitha has performed solo twice for HM King Charles, has enjoyed multiple TV appearances with BBC and S4C, and has played for many television soundtracks. She is a founding member of Quartet Draig, a Welsh string quartet with whom she has performed at the Wigmore Hall and enjoyed cultivating several performance and coaching residencies. Tabitha's other chamber work involves collaborations with: Pianist Maxwell Rafeian as Orangery duo, Welsh harpist Emily Harris as Duo Cain, pianist Cheryl Tan as the Glamorgan Duo, and with pianist Maxwell Rafeian and percussionist Harry Bone as Quantum Harmonics Trio. In Wales she enjoys working with diverse artists such as the Alternative Cabaret and Ani Glass.
